"Much Too Much" is the tenth episode of the second season of Grey's Anatomy and the 19th produced episode of the series. It is also the 19th produced episode of the Grey's Anatomy franchise. It was broadcast on November 27, 2005.

Meredith is mortified when her one night stand shows up at the hospital suffering an embrassing problem and needing medical attention. Addison's first case as part of the hospital's staff proves to be high profile when she and Izzie are assigned to a woman carrying quintuplets, who is overwhelmed by numerous medical issues as she navigates her high-risk pregnancy. Alex’s shortcomings frustrate Izzie, who starts to make grave mistakes professionally and personally while Burke suprises Cristina by giving her a key to his apartment.

"When you were a kid it was Halloween candy. You hid it from your parents and ate it until you got sick. In college it was the heady combo of youth, tequilla and... well, you know. As a surgeron you take as much of the good as you can get because it doesn't come around nearly as often as it should. Because good things aren't always what they seem. Too much of anything, even love, is not always a good thing."
"How do you know how much is too much? Too much too soon. Too much information. Too much fun. Too much love. Too much to ask And when is it all just too much to bear."
- Meredith Grey

  • "Night Of The Dancing Flame" - Roisin Murphy
  • "Lotion" - GreensKeepers
  • "Crying Shame" - Get Set Go
  • "You And Me" - Lifehouse
  • "High" - James Blunt
