Addison, Sam and Cooper treat the sick child of a homeless teen mother as Cooper and Addison come into conflict after Addison suggests the doctor's buy out Naomi's shares in the practice, forcing Cooper to accept his monetary issues. Meanwhile, feeling inspired by his sucsess in the O.R, Sam pushes to return to to surgery while Violet's inability to connect with Lucas interferes when she counsels a rape victim who is now pregnant. Dell returns to work and tries to adjust to his absence from Betsey.
