"These Arms Of Mine" is the sixth episode of the seventh season of Grey's Anatomy and the 132nd produced episode of the series. It is also the 191st produced episode of the Grey's Anatomy franchise. It was broadcast on October 28, 2010.
A documentary crew visits the hospital six months after the shooting to document the road to recovery for doctors and patients. Derek, Callie, Owen and Mark lead a radical surgery and Arizona learns that she has recieved the prestrigous Carter Madison grant, which puts her relationship with Callie in question. Meanwhile, Meredith helps Cristina put on a brave face for the cameras and Bailey is reunited with Mary, a former patient and survivor of the shooting, when she returns for her surgery.
Derek and other surgeons prepare to do a double arm transplant on a logger who lost his arms in an accident four years previously. Alex treats a young girl who is slowly dying that no other doctor has been able to cure up to now. Alex, however, looks for an alternative cure. Derek is able to operate and save the logger. In the end, Alex manages to find a treatment that involves the growth of a trachea in vitro and saves the life of the girl. After Arizona receives an elite medical grant known as the Carter Madison Grant she has to move to Africa, she and Callie decide to go together.
